Can I have multiple versions of the same song?

Yes.  Just name each version with a unique song title.  Each song can then be customized independently.

How are my songs synchronized with other Worship, Inc. users?

Songs are synchronized with other Worship, Inc. users in one of two ways.

1.  Playlists - When users are connected on the same playlists, the songs within the playlist are synchronized between users.  Changes such as the key signature, lyrics and chord progression are updated to all users connected to the playlist.

2.  Groups - Users that are connected to the same group share the same Central Media Server.  Central Media Server is an online cloud based song database where users can store, edit, retrieve and share songs between other Worship, Inc users connected in the same group.  Users have the option to save songs to the Central Media Server when song edits are saved within Worship, Inc.

How do I add chords to an existing song?

While in the song editing mode (keyboard shortcut CTRL + E), double click in the white space above the lyric where you would like to place a chord notation.  Type the letter of the chord you would like to add.  Repeat for additional chords.  Once chords have been added, click and drag to adjust the chord placement.

How do I delete a line within a song?

While in the song editing mode (keyboard shortcut CTRL + E), just use the backspace key until all the text is removed. If you keep pressing the backspace key, the line will be removed within the song editor.

Is there any way to add musical comments to songs?

Yes!  You can add comments in the chords section of each song.  Just double click in the white space where you would like to add a notation, then start typing your comments.

What are the different song save options after editing a song?

After editing a song a clicking "Save", users are presented with 3 different save options:

1.  Save to Playlist - This saves the song to the currently loaded playlist.

2.  Save to Local Database - This saves the song to the song database stored on the PC. 

3.  Save to Central Media Server - This saves the song to the Central Media Server.  Central Media server is a cloud based shared database where other users joined within a particular group can access the same song library.

What are the shortcuts for editing songs?

Below is a list of shortcuts that can be used in the song editor of Worship, Inc.

  • Ctrl+Z – Undo
  • Ctrl+Shift+Z – Redo
  • Ctrl+C – Copy
  • Ctrl+X – Cut
  • Ctrl+V – Paste
  • Ctrl+S – Save song
  • Esc – Cancel edit
